The rural setting suited me, and the local forest is right on the doorstep, so it seems ideal for exploring. There isn’t really a pub within walking distance, though, and the supermarket is a 10 minute drive. I stayed three nights for work. The room was small but just right for me, and the little kitchen had everything I needed to cook. Mark even gave me a tin of tomatoes for my meal. It was clean and comfortable. I’d recommend it and will probably come back.

The rooms are in a converted barn across a small yard from the owners’ house, and parking is very close. Keys come from pin protected lockboxes. They leave you to yourself unless you have a question or there’s an emergency, which suits me. The place is bijou, clean, comfortable and thoughtfully laid out.

My wife and I had a wholesome weekend here. The rooms were cute and quaint, and while the bathroom sink was tiny, it was fine for a property this size. Shops are limited nearby, so keep that in mind. Service was good: they let us check in almost two hours early, which helped since we were heading to the regggaeland weekender. We'd stay again.

We had a really enjoyable weekend in Pogo while attending Bludfest/Ford Fair. The room had been beautifully redone and the location was lovely. Fingers crossed we can book it again for the same time next year.
