The site was quiet, and my caravan was great: clean, fresh, and welcoming to dogs. Porto beach is a 15-minute walk away, with Watergate bay and Newquay town an easy drive. Fistral bay is on the other side of Newquay, but still around 15-20 minutes by car. At Watergate bay, WAX has amazing food, and parking is free after 6pm.

It’s a quiet, clean place, though the caravans vary a lot: some are very luxurious, while others are old and leaking. The pool costs extra and is only open from 10 AM to 5PM. There’s a good shop and ice cream shop, and the food is okay. Getting to the beach is difficult for disabled people, and you need a car. Parking can sometimes be hard to find.

We had a great stay and will be back. The place was clean and tidy, with a good range of amenities. The only tiny thing was that our caravan could use a few hooks for wet coats. Shame the weather wasn't as good as everything else 🙂

The beach is just down the road, and the setting is lovely, with the centre not far away. We really enjoyed the pool too, it's a large indoor one with a cafe serving nice food and friendly staff. There's plenty to keep the kids busy, and the cheesy shows are good for a laugh. The shop on site is a bit pricey, as they tend to be at these places. The entertainment venue is across the road. We really liked our stay and would highly recommend it.
