The outdoor pool was the standout for us, heated, spotless, and lovely for a dip in the morning or a lazy afternoon in the sun. The loungers made it easy to settle in. Priory Lodge Hotel is also close to everything in Newquay while still feeling calm and tucked away. We found the rooms cosy and clean, and the whole place had a relaxed feel. From arrival, the hosts made us feel welcome and really looked after us. Thanks to the staff for such a good stay. We’ll be back, and I’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting Newquay.

Fistral Beach is about a 15-minute walk away, and there’s a tree house cafe built into the rocks at that end of the beach. Back at the guest house, breakfast was brilliant, and there’s a lounge of your own to use in the evening for toast or microwave meals. Friendly place, would stay again.

The pool area was a favourite, and there’s a games room too. It all felt like home. We could keep our own drinks in their fridge, bring takeaway food in and heat it up, and there’s a BBQ by the pool as well. Our room was spacious, clean and really comfortable. Breakfast was very enjoyable, with lots to choose from, and the full English arrived piping hot. Fiona looked after everything, from handling the booking and greeting us to serving breakfast. She and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. We loved our stay, couldn’t fault the hotel, and can’t wait to return. Thank you, Fiona and staff, for a lovely holiday. Jacqui & Tim

We had another great stay at the Priory. Fiona managed to fit us in at short notice, and booking was easy. Everyone was helpful, and the place was clean throughout. Breakfast and the evening meals were fresh and delicious, with loads of choice at breakfast. There’s a lovely bar for unwinding in the evening, with different activities during the week, and a heated outdoor pool too. Can’t wait to stay again, 10/10!
