The room carpet has noticeable stains and looks worn in spots, which made it seem untidy beside the lighter flooring. That was the one thing that stood out. Otherwise the hotel felt neat and homely. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and the heated bathroom floor was a nice touch. Staff were genuinely helpful and greeted us with a smile, and breakfast was fresh and well made. A good choice if the carpet condition doesn’t matter much to you.

We didn’t expect much when we booked, so it was a nice surprise to find the place clean and quiet, with laid-back staff and no attitude. The Wi-Fi was the problem: it was very weak and disappeared altogether in the corner of our room. Fine for a short visit, but remote work isn’t really an option. For the price, still worth it.

Check-in was quick, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and there was no noise trouble. The Wi-Fi worked well and there were enough sockets. The bathroom grout had mould, though, and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned properly for a while. It felt unhygienic and was off-putting, even if it was a small thing. I’d stay again, the rest was fine.

The shower barely worked, just a thin trickle like a dripping tap, so I spent ages waiting to get wet. Aside from that, it was cosy, clean and quiet, with a comfortable bed, kind staff, and a kettle and fridge in the room. It was livable enough, as long as you don’t need a proper shower.

We had a really nice stay and will definitely return. The room was clean, with fresh, soft linens, and check-in was fast even though we arrived early.
