Trevellis Guest House

The host was such a friendly, helpful and funny guy. Thanks, Glynn, for making us feel so welcome. This is a fantastic B&B in a great part of town, close to the beach, pubs and supermarkets. The rooms are clean, and you can ask to have yours cleaned each day if you need it.

The location couldn’t be better, right in the town centre with shops, restaurants and the beach practically on the doorstep. Fistral beach is also an easy walk, about 15-20 minutes, with lovely scenery along the way. We spent five nights at Trevellis and enjoyed our stay. Our small double, room 2, had an en-suite shower, tea and coffee facilities and a handy wardrobe. The B&B was very clean and the room was tidied to a high standard each day. Breakfast was nicely cooked and presented. I’d have preferred fresh grilled tomato to tinned, and the sausages weren’t the best, but I suppose that’s what you get on a budget. Glyn was friendly and helpful, with plenty of suggestions for things to do in Cornwall. Parking was tricky because there are only a limited number of free spaces nearby, and we waited around ten minutes for one. You can pay to use the car park around the corner. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

The breakfast was lovely and fresh, and housekeeping each day, including fresh towels, was a nice touch. We had a great week at Trevellis Bed & Breakfast. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, with lots of advice and recommendations. Everything was exceptionally clean, and the social distancing measures were in place and followed well. We’ll definitely visit again when we’re in Newquay.

Breakfast was fabulous every morning, and the whole stay was just as good. We loved The Trevellis house and everyone there. It’s right up the street from the beach, and you can easily walk all around town from here.
