Kilmorey Arms Hotel

We attended a function on 22/12 and were so impressed with the hospitality. I've stayed in 5*s around the world, and this was just as good as, or better than, some of them. Bernie the manager made sure we had enough soup, bread rolls, and tea. The food was delicious, and the staff were professional, well dressed, and presented the tables and service immaculately. I hope the uniform standards continue. An exceptional experience. Shame I couldn't stay the night, as I was only there for the function.

Our reunion lunch for ten felt special, and booking was effortless. The staff were so friendly and professional, and nothing was too much trouble. The menu was excellent, with appetising, beautifully presented main courses and desserts. Our group came from England, Slovenia, the South of Ireland, and counties Londonderry, Fermanagh, and Down. Thank you.

The staff were so caring and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We had a wonderful stay, with a beautiful hotel and extremely comfortable beds. Everything felt warm and thoughtful. Highly recommend.

We arrived for breakfast at 11:20 am and ordered one adult meal and one for the child. While we waited, I took a quick phone call. By the time the food came, the child had eaten and then wanted the same breakfast again. We waited at the table, hoping someone would check on us, but the staff stayed at the bar. At 11:50 am the child went to the till to ask for another breakfast and was refused because breakfast had ended. The adult asked too and got the same answer. The child came back hungry and disappointed. We felt defeated, sad, and frustrated. I could understand if the restaurant had been busy, but there were only four other tables, and they'd already been served. The child wasn't ready for chips or pasta, so had to leave hungry. We're regular customers who like supporting the local town restaurant, but we left very dissatisfied.
