Room 3 was nicely decorated, with a comfortable bed and thoughtful extras like bathrobes and toiletries. The shared bathroom was spacious, with both a shower and a bathtub, and everything was neat and tidy. Breakfast was freshly made with a good choice, and there’s a beautiful garden too. It’s close to the coast but quiet at night, with lovely views of the sea and mountains. The hosts were warm, professional, and service minded, and even offered us a lift to the pub. A lovely place for a Newcastle or coast weekend.

I stayed at Riverway House for the second time this past May. The hosts go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and make your visit special. The accommodation is beautiful and the food is superb. If you’re in Northern Ireland, this is the place I’d choose to stay.

The peace and quiet here make you want to stay for days. The views of the Mourne mountains are amazing, and on a clear day you get a lovely sea view too. Breakfast was absolutely scrumptious, and the place was spotless. Paul and Peter are fantastic hosts, so kind and always willing to help. And everyone loves the two adorable dogs, gizmo and wolfie. My favourite place to come and relax, fantastic in every way.

I’m sitting in the lounge watching TV, with tea, biscuits and a bowl of fruit beside me. There are loads of options, including Netflix, Now TV and Apple channels, and the room’s lit by candles. It’s a comfortable, modern place with a nice area for relaxing. The hosts are friendly and have clearly put a lot of work into making Riverway House a pleasant place to stay.

The views over the coast and the Mournes are lovely, and the accommodation is cared for down to the details. Best hosts I’ve ever had, too!
