I came to Newry after finding the B&B I’d booked completely unsuitable and unsafe, so I took a room here instead. The staff were incredibly helpful and even arranged taxis for me. Breakfast was lovely, and when I was leaving, the concierge fetched the walking stick I’d left behind. I’d definitely recommend the place and would stay again.

The location worked really well for the pitch and putt event I was attending, and the room was comfortable. Reception was helpful too. Breakfast was good, with a great buffet selection, and the woman serving us was attentive, funny, and easy to chat with. She made our group feel welcome. The breakfast room itself was oddly quiet and enormous, with nobody else there and no music. The bar was quiet as well and shut around 11 on Saturday, which struck me as strange. Decent stay overall, and I’d come back.

We had a business meeting here, so I can only speak to the facilities we used. The dinner menu was great, and the food was cooked really well. There was a good drinks selection, though I just stuck with the jugs of water. The hotel is about five minutes by bus from the city centre.

I’ve stayed here several times when visiting Newry, and it’s still my favourite hotel. The rooms are always spotless, the food is fab, and the staff are consistently friendly and helpful. Already looking forward to my next visit.

Good value, and plenty of parking. The room was cleaned each day, there was water in it, and food was available. Pretty much what you’d expect from a three-star hotel.
