The Kilmorey Arms has that plush, old school feel that’s getting harder to find. You feel relaxed and looked after as soon as you walk in. My room was immaculately clean, the food was great, and the staff were incredibly warm and friendly. I chose it for a two week work trip and I’m very glad I did. I can’t recommend it enough, an absolute gem.

It’s a shame I couldn’t spend a night here, since I was only in for a function on 22/12. The hospitality was second to none, on a level with or better than some of the 5* places I’ve stayed around the world. A big thanks to Bernie the manager for making sure we had enough soup, bread rolls, and tea. The food was delicious, and all the staff were professional, well dressed, and had the tables and service looking immaculate. I hope those uniform standards continue.

Our reunion lunch for ten felt special, and the booking was effortless, nothing was too much bother. The staff were friendly and professional. The menu was excellent, with appetising main courses and beautifully presented desserts. Our group had people from England, Slovenia, South of Ireland, and counties Londonderry, Fermanagh, and Down. Thank you.

A lovely stay in a beautiful hotel. The beds were so comfortable, and the staff really cared about making us feel welcome. Everything felt warm and thoughtfully done. Highly recommend.

We came for breakfast at 11.20 and ordered one adult and one child breakfast. While we waited, I took a quick phone call. The child ate the food and then wanted the same breakfast again. We waited at the table, hoping someone would check if we were okay, but the staff stayed at the bar. At 11:50 the child went to the till to ask for another breakfast and was refused because breakfast was over. The adult went to ask too and was told the same. The child came back hungry and disappointed. There were only four other tables, all already served, so I can understand if it had been busy, but it wasn’t. The child didn’t want chips or pasta then and had to leave hungry. We’re regular customers who like supporting the local town’s restaurant, but this left us feeling defeated, sad, frustrated, and very dissatisfied.
