We had a perfect stay in this family-friendly home. There were plenty of clean towels, the bedding was great, and I couldn’t find fault with anything. The heating was on before we arrived, which was much appreciated during a stormy week. The cottage was beautiful, well equipped, and cosy. I stayed with my four children and five-month-old grandson. They’d supplied board games and everything else we needed. It made our trip really special, and we’ll definitely be back.

We’re back for a second stay, and it suited our family very well. The sitting room has a great view, it’s cosy and comfortable, and it has all mod cons. There’s parking for one vehicle and it allows one dog. There’s no garden or clothesline, so drying clothes is a downside, though there are grassy areas a short walk away. Older children are welcome, but note that there are stairs to manage.

A cosy place to stay, and the hosts were really helpful. I loved it and will definitely be back. It’s a perfect base for exploring the Mournes.

You get a great view from the pub balcony, and the location is handy. Just be aware the local pub restaurant closes from Sunday night until Thursday afternoon.
