It’s a comfortable place with a nice kitchenette, though there aren’t many electrical sockets or lamps and there’s no desk. The bed was good, and I’d stay again if visiting family or heading out for nature walks. Business travellers might find it could use a refresh. It’s reached by a rutted dirt road, and since it isn’t a B&B, breakfast isn’t included.

The owners were friendly and very helpful, and we brought our dog along. The apartments have loads of character, are equipped to a high standard and sit in a stunning location. Be prepared for hills on the way in and out. We’d recommend a stay and plan to return, perhaps to try the Davis apartment.

Lovely views, comfortable rooms and a fresh loaf, juice and other nice breakfast touches made this a great place to stay. There are lots of beautiful walks to explore, and our dog loved it too.

We planned to stay four nights, but for several reasons we didn’t like the location and decided to leave. Zoe offered a refund for three nights while we paid for the first, which seemed fair, so we agreed and went. Weeks later, she wrote that they wouldn’t issue the refund. If we’d known that, we would have stayed for all four nights. These people don’t keep their promises, so don’t trust them.

A cosy and different option from a B&B. The apartment was pleasant and surrounded by lovely scenery, and the owners were friendly and focused on making our stay a good one. A really high-quality experience.
