The food at the Dolfor is stunning, especially the lamb, and breakfast is amazing too. Steve and the staff are lovely, and the views are beautiful. This was my second stay, and my room was fantastic again. I really can’t recommend the Dolfor highly enough. You won’t be disappointed.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable two-night stay. The characterful building was clean, and both rooms we stayed in, 3 and 4, were excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful the whole time. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

Since moving to Newtown, we’ve been regulars for food and drinks at the Dolfur Inn. Steve, George & Sue are always welcoming. There’s a great choice of ales, bottled beer and a few beers on tap. The food is amazing, and they’ve recently added Sunday lunch. Highly recommend.

Dinner and breakfast were both outstanding, and we loved the room’s incredible countryside views. My wife and I stopped at this beautiful rural retreat while driving back to London from the Lake District through the stunning Snowdonia National Park. The whole stay brought together comfort, scenery and fantastic food. We highly recommend it and hope to return soon, this time for some hiking.

The food was the highlight for us. We had the Welsh lamb shank and chicken, both delicious, plus prawns and cheesy garlic bread that are a must-try. The rooms are cozy and have a lovely view. I think it’s a local business, and the owners and staff were incredible.
