That quiet evening in the front garden, sitting under the trees and watching the sunset after a circular walk from the farmhouse, was just what we needed. Brook Farm gave us a wonderfully peaceful break in the middle of a turbulent time. Maria, the owner, greeted us so warmly. The house is every bit as lovely as the photos, with a cosy guest sitting room and huge sofas. Our room and bathroom were a good size, beautifully decorated, and the bedding was wonderfully comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with homemade compotes. We barely heard a sound at night. Thank you, Maria. We’d highly recommend it.

The breakfast was a treat, with a tasty cooked option as well as cereals and fruit, and the hostess was there to greet me in the morning. I’d love to come back and stay for longer. Brook Farm’s building had me admiring it as soon as I arrived, and the welcome was so friendly that I felt at home straight away. My room was incredible, with a large bed, desk area, TV, tea and coffee station, and an immaculate bathroom with a beautiful bath. It felt luxurious without the hefty price tag. I had a lovely night and would happily recommend this B&B.

Make sure you have good directions before you get close, as mobile coverage around here is a bit patchy. Once there, you’ll find a traditional, homely B&B in lovely countryside. The hostess is friendly and attentive, the rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated, and the bathrooms have recently been modernized. There are plenty of breakfast choices, including options for vegetarians.

Really quiet and comfortable, with safe parking and easy to find. The location was great, the host very good, and breakfast was excellent. Probably the most relaxing stay I’ve ever had. I’d stay again.
