Revado Hotel, Norwich City Centre

The room and bathroom were very clean, and it's a well located place with good value for money. Late check in and checkout are available too. The hotel is called Revado Hotel, though a sticker on the inner door says Namaste India, which I assume was the former name before it was rebranded. A few practical details: there's no phone in the room, so you have to call the hotel or go to reception. They only serve vegan breakfast, with no eggs, just milk and vegan food. I wish the booking page had made that clear. Also, the payment setup at reception uses a mobile phone, and a tablet might work better.

The room was quiet, with no noise from other guests, and I found it comfortable. The shower was stunning, too. It's a lovely hotel near the train station, with excellent service, though answering the phone could be better. I'd recommend it.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the location is excellent, a short walk from the station in a quiet area. My room was a decent size, with bright, modern wallpaper. There was a nice selection of tea and coffee, plus orange juice and breakfast bars, which you don't often get. The shower room had plenty of space, and the bed was comfortable enough. I was pretty satisfied and would stay again. I was on the top floor, where the sloping ceiling made the left side of the bed impossible to reach for someone 6ft tall. The tea and coffee were also placed a bit too low to reach comfortably. There was no hot water when I went to shower in the morning, and the two pillows provided were flat. Four pillows would have been better.

The room made a good impression as soon as I arrived: clean, nicely laid out, and stocked with plenty of tea and coffee. The location is ideal, tucked behind the riverside development and close to the station.
