For Students Only - Signal Place

My son stayed with IQ Students for one semester and cleared everything he owed before he left. Now we’re being asked for £3,430 for the following semester under a contract where it isn’t clear who signed or how it was signed. I’ve been in touch with the team, but we still haven’t received a DocuSign certificate, and no copy of the contract was sent to our official email on the signing date. I’m concerned IQ Students may be defrauding students with fake contracts. This could be down to people in the company trying to make unfair profits. Getting this clarified would help stop other students being put in this position.

The staff were friendly and quick to help. When I ran into problems with my bank while paying rent, I kept emailing IQ and they were reassuring and helpful the whole time. I usually check reviews, photos, and social media before choosing somewhere, and picking IQ has turned out to be one of my best decisions. The atmosphere is really nice, the room is cosy with a big window, and the kitchen has plenty of space to have friends over. If you want a cosy place while you’re a student, IQ is a good fit.

I didn’t overstay by even one day, but after my stay I keep getting emails saying I owe rent for next year. I had rebooked the same room, but never completed the booking. It’s been a frustrating, awful experience. The staff, especially ellen, have been rude, racist, and completely unwilling to understand. Stop emailing me and harassing me.

The rooms and facilities are modern and nice, and the building is only a five minute walk from Nottingham Station and the tram, close to the city centre too. I’ve only recently moved in, but Ellen, David, and Josh have already been amazing at helping me settle. They’re friendly and ready to help wherever they can.
