As soon as I walked in, it felt like a Bando. The kitchen dining area looked like a charity shop or dump, and there was a smell of raw fish and rotten bones. The staff were rudely arrogant. Calling this a hotel is an understatement; I wouldn't even call it a hostel. I don't care what the nightly rate is, I would never stay there. The place is absolutely awful and needs knocking down and replacing.

I was put up here for three nights when I was homeless and living outside in winter 2017. After two nights, I decided to go back to my tent near the canal rather than stay another night.

The room smelled damp, and the bathroom smelled even worse. There was no TV remote, and I couldn't tune the TV manually. The owner did nothing to help. While looking for the remote, we found dirt under the bed and marks on the sheets. The bath was filthy, some bathroom walls were bare and untiled, and the windows were covered in mould. A very disappointing stay. I won't be back.

The room didn’t look clean, and the fridge seemed unclean too. With so many complaints, this place needs to be closed and inspected by health officials.

We were charged £20 per person for breakfast, which we weren’t given, and had to pay extra to park the car. The staff were rude and wouldn’t show me to our room. The place smelled damp and mouldy, and there was constant noise and arguing nearby. I’d never stay here again.
