The food was awful, and the decor looks as though it hasn't changed in 30 years. I was here for a Christmas party and paid £5-95 for a can of Guinness, which is disgusting. I can't understand why people come here.

The bed was really comfortable and there was a lovely choice at breakfast. The hotel feels warm and welcoming, and the rooms are nice. The shower pressure was the one downside, but I'd definitely stay again. 9/10.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was spacious and laid out nicely. I liked the comfortable lounge with its framed pop idol and artist pictures, and there's a small bar too. It was my first visit with friends and we had a lovely time. Even though it's on a busy road, there's a car park as well as on-street parking. The toilets are a few steps away, but there aren't any accessible toilets.

The bed was only okay, though it was the best part of the stay. The floors creak, the water pressure is low, and you can hear everyone and everything. Breakfast wasn't worth the Pepto Bismol I needed afterwards.

Breakfast was delicious, and the service couldn't have been better. Our room was immaculate and very comfortable, so we had a lovely stay. I'd happily recommend the hotel.
