Moo Cow Cottage Self Catering

We had such a relaxing stay and felt at home thanks to Jennifer and her family. We can’t wait to return and would highly recommend this self-catering place. Moo Cow Cottage was more than first class, beyond what we expected, and it was extremely clean, comfortable, peaceful, and well placed for tourist attractions and lovely places to eat. Jennifer couldn’t do enough for us from the start and has thought of everything for children, including toy ride-on tractors, books, puzzles and DVDs for rainy days. Outside, there’s a clothesline, patio, sun loungers, barbecue and picnic table for enjoying the peaceful sunny space. The kitchen had all the utensils and equipment we needed to cook a good meal. Other things provided included a washing machine and powder, dishwasher, radio and dog cage. The newly decorated cottage is a hidden gem in the English Midlands.

Jennifer had thought of all the things we might have forgotten, even a dog lead or razor, and the cottage was easily the best equipped place we've stayed. It worked just as well for a night as it would for a week or longer. Everything was spotless, and the attention to detail really stood out. She was welcoming and helpful, and even brought extra seating into the private garden for our guests. The homemade chocolate cake was delicious, too. It's a peaceful spot for families, couples, or a solo break. Thanks for helping make our special day so lovely. We'll be back.

We'd love to stay again. Moo Cow Cottage felt so welcoming, and Jennifer was around if we needed anything while giving us space to enjoy our holiday. She checked in after we'd settled, and there was cake waiting when we arrived. The cottage was spotless and had everything we needed. We brought bikes, and there was plenty of secure storage for them. Thanks so much, Jennifer, for making it such a lovely place to stay.

We spent a week at Moo Cow Cottage in October 2020, and it was such a peaceful place. Jenifer was a lovely host and made us feel very welcome. The homemade chocolate cake was a thoughtful touch, and there were personal extras that made the cottage feel homely, including things for the children. The setting was beautiful, and the cottage was clean and well organised. The bed and bedding, towels, and other items were all good quality. With such wet weather, having a washing machine and dryer was especially useful. I'd love to visit again sometime. Thank you, Jenifer.
