Otters' Green Bed and Breakfast

The old granary has been turned into a breakfast room, and the guest rooms are converted stables, which gives this friendly little B&B a quirky feel. It’s in a peaceful spot but still an easy walk from a busy village. Rooms are simple, clean and comfortable, breakfast has a wide continental selection, and the rates are very reasonable.

There are several places for dinner just a short walk away, and breakfast is served across from the room with plenty of choice. Our ensuite was spotless, had everything we needed and more, and the bed was really comfortable. Otters Green is such a pretty, peaceful place. Jean gave us a warm welcome and was very helpful. We were glad we stayed.

The grounds are beautiful, and that Redwood tree is amazing. Jean has thought of everything in the cozy rooms, which feel like home. Breakfast is set out from 6am, with plenty on offer, and you can help yourself. You can see the three rooms from outside, and the Granary is where breakfast is served. I had to cancel my planned trip to Otter's Green because my circumstances changed, so I can’t comment on the rooms. Jean was lovely during the booking process and very accommodating when we spoke on the phone. If I’m travelling that way again, I’ll book with her. Her service was excellent.
