The Hollies Bed and Breakfast

Breakfast was amazing, from the perfectly cooked bacon and sausages to the fruit, granola and yogurt served beforehand. Debbie was also so polite and helpful, with great suggestions for where to eat and advice about Uppingham and the surrounding area. We stayed with my partner for a casual night away. The room was spotless and spacious, the bed comfortable, and the large shower room had a powerful shower. It was a bit too hot when we arrived, but everything else was perfect. I really can't recommend the place enough.

Debbie and Bill were wonderful hosts, happy to share advice about the area and things to do. Breakfast was delicious, made with top-notch produce. We’ve just come back from one night at The Hollies and had a really enjoyable stay. The room was spacious, beautiful and clean, the gardens charming, and the shared spaces lovely too. I’d definitely recommend this B&B.

I keep coming back to this cosy home from home, and would highly recommend it. The relaxed feel of the fascinating old terraced house goes perfectly with its clean, crisp interior. It’s tastefully decorated and beautifully furnished, and the couple who run it are interesting enough to write a book about. Breakfast is excellent, and there are plenty of intriguing restaurants nearby for dinner.

The homemade granola at breakfast was especially scrummy, and Debbie and Bill were fantastic hosts. I slept better than I have in ages in the lovely room with its ensuite. What a lovely find. Would we come back? Absolutely yes. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
