Narendra was really friendly, and I asked for the chef to be complimented because the food was so good. We tried the restaurant’s Pan Asian menu, ordering starters and asking for them to be made spicy. The Chicken 65 was out of this world. The Samosa Chaat was good too, and the Fried Chicken Gyoza and Duck Spring Roll were very tasty.

We had lunch here today and will definitely be back. The food was delicious, with plenty of meat and amazing flavours, and our server went above and beyond. Prices were very good with a hefty lunchtime discount. Ringwood forty niner on tap was lovely, and they also had Neck Oil, my favourite ale. Thanks, Narendra, you made us laugh!

The flavours are on another level, and this feels like high-end traditional Indian and Nepalese food rather than an ordinary British curry. I’d say it’s the best Indian/Nepalese food in Stamford and Rutland. It’s not particularly expensive either. Highly recommended.

We both had curries and found them plentiful and full of flavour. The staff and owner were very pleasant, and we’d most definitely return. We took advantage of the half-price midday food offer. Without that, the prices are a bit higher than at the usual “Indian” restaurants. Seeing other customers who may have been Indian felt like a good sign.

The curry was the tastiest, most succulent I’ve ever had, with good portions and spot-on service. We were walking the Rutland Round and stayed at the pub. Our clean, well-maintained room was in a separate building behind the main one, so it was lovely and quiet. We understood the restaurant did authentic curries as well as traditional pub meals. We first had a drink at the bar, but the beer we wanted wasn’t available, so I had to settle for a lager. After building up a hiker’s appetite, we chose curry.
