Paul & Anna have made Glencruitten House & Luxury Villas into something quite extraordinary, where fantasy and the real world seem to meet. Tucked into the woods about 2 miles from Oban, it's a unique place, full of thoughtful details. The grand, enchanting house sits alongside beautiful private villas scattered through the woodland, with hot tubs and saunas. There are peacocks and alpacas roaming around too. The fine dining restaurant is stunning, and its tasting menu brings together local ingredients and mythical Scottish tales. A luxurious, magical hideaway.

After our wedding ceremony at the registry office, we had afternoon tea at Glencruitten House, and it was a wonderful experience. The setting is elegant, peaceful, and beautiful, just right for the occasion. The food and cakes were an incredible selection, fresh, beautifully presented, and delicious, with such careful attention to detail. The team made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and went above and beyond to make the afternoon personal, relaxed, and memorable. It was exactly what we hoped for and more. We're grateful to Glencruitten House for such a perfect beginning to our celebrations, and would recommend it to anyone looking for something special.

We spent each evening in the upstairs library, sipping whisky, and it became our favorite room. The grounds were lovely, our room was beautiful, and the service was impeccable. Such a magical place, the highlight of our trip.

We loved the food and how lovely the staff were. The hotel sits peacefully on a hill above Oban, with incredible views across to Mull. Inside, the design is stunning and beautifully done. I’d highly recommend staying at Glencruitten.
