The backyard was wonderful. From the garden, all you could see was trees, and there were loads of birds. I spent mornings and evenings out there, eating dinner or meditating. I think there’s a trail behind it too. It was perfect. The people running the place were very friendly. My room was clean and a good size for a B&B, though the bathroom and shower were very small, which wasn’t a problem for me. Breakfast was huge and really good, probably the best I had on the trip. She cooked it fresh in the morning, with scrambled eggs, sausage, and toast, all gluten free. The location seemed a bit limited for walking to nearby places, but I was on a tour and didn’t have a car. If you do have one, it’s probably a great spot.

Morven was an excellent hostess. We had to leave at 6am for our tour, so she kindly packed us a massive, tasty breakfast and lunch to take along. Thank you, Morven! It’s a beautiful, clean guest house with excellent service, amenities, and breakfast. Highly recommended accommodation in Oban.

We had a nice, clean room, room 6, and it was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, and Oban town centre is within walking distance. Many thanks to Keith behind the scenes and to Morven, who gave us a warm welcome on a wet afternoon. They made our stay enjoyable, and we hope to return.

The little details around the house make it clear how much care has gone into it. Morven was so warm and friendly from the moment we arrived, and made us feel at home straight away. This was my second trip to Oban, and I was so happy with the accommodation. I'd happily recommend this lovely B&B to anyone visiting Scotland.

We chose this guest house because it had the dates we needed and the earlier guest comments were all so positive. They proved right: we loved our two nights there. The hosts were delightful, the breakfasts delicious, and the room had been thoughtfully set up with pretty much everything visitors might need. It's also a fascinating area to explore.
