Adelphi Villa

George was a very welcoming host and gave us a map with places to visit, eat and drink. We arrived early, and he let us park and check in anyway. The room was lovely, with tea and coffee, bottled water, yogurts, milk, fruit and muffins. The bed was comfortable and the en-suite was nice. It’s perfectly placed for a stroll into town, and we’d definitely book again.

George was so friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean, with a nicely updated bathroom, and it’s an easy walk to Oban city centre. The on-site parking was a real plus. I’d definitely stay again 😃

There isn’t a proper breakfast, though they leave enough edible things that you won’t go hungry if you skip a morning walk. The room has plush carpets, a fridge and a decent bed, and the quiet backstreet is still only minutes from the north pier. Oban is hilly, so anywhere away from the seafront means some uphill walking. The street is narrow and backing into the parking spot takes care, but I managed it twice. Hard to fault, really.

Cosy and spotless little place. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bedding and towels were clearly high quality. Absolutely deserves five stars. We visit beautiful Oban regularly and will definitely stay here again.
