We went for dinner on a Saturday. The food was lovely and good value, with salmon, pork belly, chicken, and pie among our choices. The starters did feel pricey for what we got. It was busy, so book ahead. There was a good atmosphere and live music later, though it was a little loud. We’d recommend it.

The food was the standout for us. It’s restaurant quality rather than typical pub food, and there’s nothing we can fault about the place. We’re already looking forward to another long weekend. It’s a great little pub in a lovely old village. The bedrooms have character because the building is so old, and they were spotlessly clean, with excellent linen and towels. Service was super too, especially Nat ?, who was so helpful and accommodating. Thanks, everyone!

We had dinner there one evening for pie night. The food was great, there were good vegetarian options, and the beer was decent. The area also has plenty to see, especially if you enjoy history and wildlife. It’s a lovely place to spend a few nights. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well appointed, and the staff were pleasant, professional, and incredibly helpful. Thoroughly recommended.

We had a really lovely stay. The top-floor room was very cute, and everyone on staff was friendly, especially the ladies at breakfast. The Saturday-night pub had a really nice atmosphere for drinks, and breakfast was amazing, fresh, and a great size. 100% recommend.
