The beds were so comfortable, and the rooms feel homely. Mary is a lovely host at this superb B&B. Breakfast is generous and excellent in both quality and taste, with fresh bread baked at home.

We especially enjoyed getting a glimpse of life on a working dairy farm and learning about how the farm has changed over the years. Gooseford Farm B & B Farm is a lovely rural retreat in Devon, with the proprietor's attentive care making the stay feel personal and easy. The grounds are beautifully kept, and the quaint buildings reflect the farm's long history. It was established in the late 19th century and has passed through generations, keeping traditional dairy farming practices while gradually bringing in modern techniques. The countryside setting and that history made it an interesting visit for us. The owner is experienced in hospitality and clearly wants guests to feel welcome. It's a peaceful place to get away from city life, whether you're interested in the past or just want to enjoy nature and a quiet stay.

Mary was a wonderful host, and the breakfast was brilliant. I travel a lot for work, so finding somewhere this warm and homely in such a beautiful setting was a treat. The log fire in the living room is so relaxing. I'd give it more than five stars if I could.

We came to Gooseford Farm with friends for a wedding and found the accommodation immaculate, cosy, and really comfortable. The food was fantastic too. Mary welcomes you in a way that makes you feel at home in her house. I'd happily stay again if I get the chance.

As a solo traveller, I felt at home and so welcome here. The room was fantastic, the views beautiful, and the host lovely. Breakfast was perfect, with quality produce and more kinds of cereal than I've ever seen. I can't fault the place, and I didn't want to go home.
