Travelodge Okehampton Sourton Cross

The rooms were clean and surprisingly well priced, and the staff were friendly and professional. A fantastic place to stay, highly recommend it.

We were in room 1 because my mum is disabled. Getting her into and out of the bath for a shower was extremely difficult, as it had a shower over it rather than an accessible shower. The bathroom floor was very cold, and when I asked for a bath mat, I was told they didn't have any. There was just one hand towel in the room, so we had to request another. The twin beds had no side tables or nearby sockets for medical equipment. It was also very noisy, with people coming and going and staff laughing and talking.

When I visit family in Okehampton, I've always had a pleasant stay here. The rooms are clean and tidy, and it's peaceful, with helpful, friendly staff. It's also well placed for getting around Devon or Cornwall. I'll keep choosing it when I can.

The staff were helpful and apologetic, but the car park is full of potholes and looks like a war zone. Breakfast comes in a box. Three stars. Fix it, travelodge!
