Dinner is a good option if you enjoy tasty, spicy Asian food, as the hotel serves Thai cuisine in the evenings. Our room had a lovely view, with the sea visible in the distance. The place looks like it hasn’t been refurbished in a while, but it cost less than other hotels nearby.

The people were lovely and polite, and the hotel was clean. Still, the creaky patches of flooring and how easily you could hear the neighbouring rooms made it a poor choice for a relaxing break for us. It could work well as a base while you’re working. This is an honest reflection.

We were in Colwyn Bay for the England v Wales Under 20 rugby game and stayed just one night. The whole group said we’d use The Lyndale again. The staff were friendly and attentive, service was excellent, and the rooms were clean and comfortable with great sea views.

Breakfast was amazing and very filling, and the accommodation was clean and really good. They made our dog ‘Peggy’ feel very welcome too! The owner and staff were nice, polite, helpful and relaxed. Just what you want. 5*, perfect!! 🤗

It was easy to find and parking was good. The beds were comfy, breakfast was great, and it’s a lovely family-run hotel. We hope to come back.
