We’ve just come back from an excellent break. It’s quiet and relaxing here, with Donegal and Bundoran, which is great for kids, about an hour’s drive away. The place is clean and spacious, with high ceilings. The kitchen has good quality appliances and utensils, the sort that even Gordon Ramsay would appreciate. There’s an open fire, internet and a TV with most streaming apps, plus a shop five minutes up the road. Thanks. We’ll come back for a longer stay.

I stayed at Leaghan Self Catering for 12 weeks during lockdown. The stay was kindly gifted because I work as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner in Accident and Emergency. The husband and wife who hosted the property were extremely welcoming and friendly, and made a real effort to treat me like a personal guest in their home. The house was spacious, clean, beautifully furnished, fully equipped, warm and comfortable. It was in a quiet rural spot beside the river, with stables around it, and the natural beauty nearby made the stay even better. The seclusion, excellent hospitality and friendly hosts made it a perfect stay.
