Jo made us feel like her personal guests from the moment we arrived, and there was nothing she wouldn't do to help. I forgot to mention my gluten intolerance when booking, but she still managed to cater for it at the last minute. Breakfast was fresh and honestly delicious. The poached eggs, collected from the back garden, were the best we've tasted anywhere. Our bedroom was spacious, with a lovely big bed and a well-presented, exceptionally clean bathroom. The whole house is spotless, full of charm and character, and steeped in history and stories. We were lucky enough to hear some of those over breakfast. The bedroom was beautifully presented too. From arrival to departure there was nothing to fault. Jo is a superb host, unlike anyone my husband and I have encountered before. Heath House is a rare gem. We're already looking forward to the next family occasion so we can book again.

After my five-hour drive, I was pretty hungry, and Jo even drew me a map to a nice nearby pub and restaurant. She's a lovely, welcoming host. I spent one night here in July, and Heath House is a beautiful B&B in pleasant surroundings. My room had everything I needed and was clean and comfortable, so I slept well. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and awesome. I'd happily recommend it and stay again if I'm in the area.

The bed was really spacious, and the en suite bathroom was a good size. I slept well, and the room was just right. Such a beautiful find, and I felt very welcome. Breakfast being included had already sold me, but the service went above and beyond, especially with eggs from their own hens. I'd love to come back.

Jo's hospitality and the breakfast were both faultless. We felt very welcome, and our two dogs did too. The room was lovely, and the house and gardens are beautiful, with space for the dogs to run free. I'd highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

The breakfast was just right to set us up for a day out, and Jo and her husband were lovely hosts. They gave us excellent suggestions for getting out and about, including restaurants. An easy recommendation as a base for travelling around South/Western Yorkshire.
