The Wildings

The vegetarian breakfast was delicious, and our dog enjoyed the doggy breakfast of bacon and sausage. The staff were pleasant and helpful, and our room had everything we needed. The hotel is lovely inside and out, with a lift serving every floor. Great location and excellent value for money. We’d highly recommend it 😋

Our room was just right for us and our two dogs, and the team were so friendly and helpful. They even cooked breakfast for the dogs, a lovely touch that showed real kindness. The only snag was parking. There’s no private parking, and while spaces are available outside and along the street, they’re chargeable, which made it a bit difficult, especially if you’re less mobile. We stayed in the Alice suite for our anniversary, and the room had lovely touches added by request: prosecco, flowers, and rose petals on the bed. The staff were pleasant and nothing felt like too much trouble. Dinner was delicious with good portions, and the free breakfast the next morning had plenty of choice.

I booked this as a surprise 40th birthday getaway for my in-laws, and they were treated like VIPs from start to finish. They got an upgrade and received impeccable service throughout. The hospitality was fantastic at every step, from booking and confirmation through check-in. I’m so grateful to Ian and the team for making it such a special, memorable occasion. They were treated unbelievably well, and I’d recommend this hotel above all else.
