This was our second stay, and it used to be our go-to place in the area. The accommodation is still warm, clean and well equipped. It seems to have new owners, though, and the signs haven't caught up with the old layout and way of doing things. Everything now appears to be managed remotely by phone and email, whereas there used to be staff on site. The restaurant doesn't seem to be open either, so there's no longer that superb breakfast that's so useful when you're working away.

A comfortable bed, coffee, a little breakfast box of goodies and some nice decor. So many thoughtful touches in the room. Brilliant, highly recommend.

I booked at the last minute and was glad I did. I had no email connection on my phone, so I called about getting in. They were extremely helpful over the phone and got me settled safely and without stress, all remotely. The room and facilities were excellent.

On my second stay here, the room was spotless and had everything I needed. It's in a beautifully renovated, very old building right in central Oswestry. The customer service was excellent too. Because of my hip issue, the bed in my assigned room was too high, but they quickly switched me to a more suitable room. I'll definitely return and recommend it for a short stay.
