The owner was lovely and helpful, and quick to answer our questions. The room was very clean, and the kitchen had all the utensils we needed, so cooking was easy. On a clear night, you can step outside to a sky full of stars. It's beautiful and peaceful. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend it.
A cosy little cottage in romantic Northumberland, with beautiful starry nights beneath the area's dark skies. It's a lovely spot for wildlife and nature lovers. There's an aromatherapy cabin on the grounds offering organic beauty treatments, and it's great for cyclists: the village pub, The Bird in the Bush, is a mile's walk away, while Impromptu cafe is a mile by bike. Waterfall walks, the Cheviots, Kielder, and Simon Side fells are about a 30-minute drive. You can also find lovely countryside pubs with log fires and home cooking within a 20-minute drive. Le Petit Chateau and Woodhill Hall wedding venues are just five minutes away.
