After a morning walk, we came in for lunch and really enjoyed it. We shared the fish with chips and some other sides. Our server, Yanet I think, was so lovely and made us feel very welcome. Great job all round, and we'll be back. P.S. our dog loved the doggy menu!

We've had lunch here lots of times, and the food is always very good. Each visit, they've also had excellent cask beer from local brewery First To Last. Super dog friendly too.

The venue was beautiful and the staff lovely, but the food let us down. My pie was underwhelming, with very little meat, and seemed more like a shop-bought one than something made fresh there. The mash tasted microwaved, and the so-called seasonal vegetables were just plain broccoli. For the price, it wasn't worth it, and looked and tasted like something from Aldi.

The surroundings are lovely, and the kids' meal was great value. The adults' burger was fine too, but the steak pie was awful because the meat was tough. The 'seasonal vegetables' were literally just a bowl of cabbage, with no other vegetables. Definitely not good value for money.

We stopped for Sunday lunch while passing through, and it was a nice outing with reasonable prices. The setting was lovely and the staff were fab. The beer selection let the place down; they need to talk with Three Kings Brewery and Darwin Brewery about sorting that out. Also, the knives struggled with the meat, so steak knives would've been better.
