Tuxford House Hotel

I'm going by what my friend has told me, since he and his son have stayed here in two consecutive years and like it. He says Clive, the owner, puts the guests first. They enjoyed the fully cooked breakfast and evening meal, which were well cooked, with a wide choice that both adults and children liked. He also said the rooms, bathroom and shower were clean and tidy, with no dust or dirt around, and well maintained. The Tuxford hotel isn't large, which apparently gives Clive more time to look after what customers need. It's close to the pleasure beach, the beach, the town's main thoroughfare and attractions for kids and adults. I've also heard that the swimming pool is a good place for children, with a few different slides and chutes. From what I've been told, it's all good things about the hotel and its owner. It's Blackpool, after all, and my friend and his son have enjoyed their stays. Happy holidays, folks. From Dave.

The free parking is a real plus, and the B&B is close to the promenade while still being quiet. We spent a week at Tuxford House B&B and, for what we paid at a two-star place, I couldn't fault it. The room suited my family, the beds were so comfortable and breakfast was top rate. Clive is a gentleman, and Billy made breakfast such a joy that my kids will be talking about him for ages. The kids were tearful when we left, which says plenty. Can't wait to return. As for people who gave Tuxford House poor reviews, what did they expect for their money?

We stayed with our family from August 28 to 1 September 2015, and had a good experience. Everything was very clean, breakfast was plentiful and really good, and the host was friendly and helpful. We'd definitely stay again, and I don't think you'd be disappointed if you chose this hotel.

There isn't a licensed bar or live entertainment, which makes it a good fit if you're travelling with small children. Pubs and entertainment are nearby when you want them, but they don't disturb you. I had such a good time at the Tuxford that my original two-night booking turned into three. The location is great, five minutes on foot from the promenade and about five minutes, if you're a bit tipsy, from Yates'. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and parking is available, though I'd check whether there's space at busy times. The full English breakfast is tasty, so I'd book bed and breakfast. I'd definitely stay again.
