The hotel still hasn't returned my calls. When I rang during the chaos, they laughed at me and seemed not to care. I was charged £180 for this stay, which was the worst weekend of my life. I was bitten more than 70 times by bed bugs and had a severe allergic reaction. A week later, I was still receiving medical treatment. The place was filthy. In the room next to ours, there were adult men and underage girls, at least five people in a room meant for two. They were having sex in the corridor, which I believe was rape because the girls were underage. They climbed through our window into our room around 3 a.m., then went onto the roof, smoking weed and partying all night. Absolute hell. Avoid it.

We didn't find anything wrong during our stay, and the owner was quick to sort things out. We even woke him at 10, sorry about that, and he kindly answered and helped us. I'd ignore the bad reviews. 10/10!

I was in Oxford for a funeral and just needed somewhere to sleep, so this did the job. The downside is there's no breakfast, and every room is a guest room.

The room was small but comfortable, with food shops right next door and a bus stop nearby for the city centre. When I arrived, I couldn't get in and had to wait 15 minutes for the owner to show up with a key and go through the usual information. He then left the guest house for the rest of my stay. It was off-putting that people actually live there.

We emailed the property to cancel four months before the stay, then again two months ahead. Two days after the original reservation date, they charged our card anyway. When we called, the man we spoke to was incredibly rude. He said they don't check their email and that we had to cancel on the website, even though there was no way to do that there. He didn't seem concerned at all about the problems the charge could cause for our trip. This feels like a complete scam. Do not stay here.
