Ramada by Wyndham Oxford

The hotel was clean and smelled clean, plants were well maintained, and staff were always on hand at the bar and restaurant. Food and drinks were reasonably priced, and there was an open view kitchen. I'd have given five stars if they'd enforced the dogs-on-lead policy. We had our assistance dog on a lead, under control and working. Another guest had a big Alsatian/German Shepherd that didn't like the look of my dog, and its behaviour reinforced that. It had no lead or collar. I appreciate that's not the hotel's fault, but dogs should always be kept under control on a lead for other people's safety.

Breakfast had a nice range of options, and Abhijith Shambu was especially helpful. My room and washroom were clean and comfortable, and check-in was quick and easy. I had a really pleasant stay at Ramada Oxford and would definitely recommend it.

The breakfast was very good, and the chef was helpful. We only stayed briefly at the Ramada hotel for work, but the manager was polite, professional, and gave us useful advice about breakfast the next morning. The hotel felt clean and tidy, with a good atmosphere. I’d stay again and recommend it to anyone. Best breakfast service in Oxford.

The friendly staff were a plus, but the hotel itself looked tired and could use refurbishment. I had two room issues during my six-night booking: one was sorted quickly, the other wasn’t. I’d have appreciated being offered another room, but no one suggested it.
