The harbour is only a minute's walk away, and the views are incredible. Our room was bright and clean, and Charlotte and Heather made the stay feel perfect. They’re among the kindest, most genuine people we’ve met. The bar and all the staff were brilliant too. Thanks so much for everything!

The dining room looking out over the estuary was beautiful in the morning, and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. Nothing felt like too much trouble. Our room was gorgeous, spotless and warm, with a comfortable bed. Can't rate this hotel highly enough. We'll be back.

The outside looks a bit drab, but the hotel’s interior design is lovely. We had a great weekend: our room was clean, very nice and well appointed, the food was delicious, and the service was fantastic.

We really enjoyed the interior decor, and the location, privacy and views were wonderful. The food was excellent, and the staff were helpful and thoughtful throughout. Hebe Monks was a terrific help, and thanks to her and the rest of the team. A couple of things could be improved: in late March and early April it was almost impossible to get through by phone, perhaps because it was early in the season, but the phone tree could use a rethink. Also, a private room works better without piped music. They did turn it off, but it might be better for no music to be the default unless guests ask for it.

Hebe sorted everything out for our big birthday evening with 28 friends, and the Harbour team made us feel welcome and helped the whole thing come together. We took over the Boat Room, which is a fabulous venue, and the food and service were brilliant. Everyone had a great night!
