The Padstow Cottage - Coswarth House

The best parts of our two nights at Coswarth House were the location and our room, which was spacious, clean, comfortable and elegantly decorated. Jack was a helpful, witty host and a pleasure to spend time with. We did miss having breakfast on site. The breakfast at Rick Steins Cafe was very nice, but getting there wasn’t convenient when time mattered, and it could be difficult for someone with limited mobility. Even so, I’d recommend this lovely B and B.

We had the Brunyee suite, part of a lovely set of rooms with an adjoining cottage. Although it’s just two rooms, it was better than we expected. The bedroom is beautifully decorated and well suited to a couple, and the bathroom has plenty of space, with both a shower and a large freestanding bath. We’d love to book again when we come back.

The room was beautiful, and the little touches made our stay feel special. There’s off-road parking, and the location is lovely, close to the harbour. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the Rick Stein cafe too. Would definitely recommend, and we’ll stay here next time we’re in Padstow.

The owners were very friendly and helpful, and the rooms are spotless and well fitted out. They’re beautifully decorated and so private that we didn’t see or hear any other guests. Padstow is a short walk down the hill, and breakfast at Rick Stien's cafe was very well looked after. It’s a little steep if all you want is a standard B&B, though the quality is high. My only small gripe was that my latest flagship Samsung phone couldn’t connect to the wifi. I meant to tell the owners but forgot when we were packing up.
