Beecroft Lodge

This was our second visit and we weren’t disappointed. The location is great, the breakfast superb, and Vikki and Scott are hosts who make sure nothing is too much trouble. Many thanks, we’ll be back. We’ve just returned from another great stay, 30/8/25. The breakfast was superb, and Vikki and Scott were on top form again, always happy to help. Lovely, very comfortable room with a nice en-suite. We’ll definitely return. Thanks.

We had a wonderful stay. The hosts were welcoming and informative, the rooms clean and comfortable, and the excellent food came with a smile.

Scott and Vicki are great hosts and make you feel welcome from the moment they open the door. They can suggest places to visit and evening meals if you ask. We’re already looking forward to going back for the third year in a row, and Milo is adorable if you like dogs. We stayed in room 7, Ray & Hayley. It was very clean and comfortable, with tea, coffee and fresh milk provided. Breakfast had lots to choose from, from cereal and toast to a lovely cooked meal. Fantastic hosts, great room and awesome breakfasts.

Breakfast was a real highlight. Vicky welcomed us into the breakfast room with a big smile, and we could choose tea, coffee or whatever we preferred. Scott knows food and cooks brilliantly, everything was high quality and prepared perfectly. He should think about opening a restaurant, I reckon he’d do well. The room was spotless and tastefully decorated, with tea and coffee on the side and a comfy bed. We picked this guest house for its location and reviews, and both lived up to expectations. Vicky greeted us warmly on arrival, gave us the room key and explained the room and breakfast. Great place, great food and superb people. 1st class.
