The owners and their neighbours were so friendly and helpful. If you're not comfortable squeezing into tight parking spots like me, I'd suggest using the layby along the lane. This cute cottage is one of five in a row, reached by a private single-track lane, and it's very quiet, with lots of birds visiting the garden. The living room and kitchen are a bit short on natural light, while the conservatory and bedroom get plenty. There's lots of indoor lighting, though.
