After a pleasant riverside walk in Pateley Bridge, we chatted with some friendly locals who were out walking their dogs too. Then we had breakfast at the willow. The omelettes are to die for, and, as Thomas said, the cooked breakfast was delicious. Prices were very reasonable, and the staff were friendly.

The food was fresh, delicious, and proper comfort food. When you order a meal, they bring complimentary homemade bread and butter, and the portions are fair. The ingredients were very good quality too. The woman who served us was also the chef, and what a lovely person she was. She was kind and accommodating with our two children. It's a beautiful little place right in the heart of Pateley Bridge. This was our first visit, and we'll certainly return. Check it out if you're passing through!

Just reviewing the restaurant: it's tiny, with lovely staff and a nice menu. The food was good, especially the desserts. I'd absolutely recommend it for dinner.

We stopped here yesterday while visiting Pateley Bridge, and what a gem. The place was spotless and really well run. The staff were welcoming and attentive. My wife had the scampi and said it was cooked really well. I had gammon, cooked to perfection, with eggs just as good. You might think chips are the same everywhere, but these were the nicest I've had. No idea how they make them, but they were excellent. A very tasty, amazing place.

This ended up under accommodation, which we didn't use, but I meant to review the restaurant. The food was freshly made and really enjoyable. It's not fancy, more like eating at a friend's house when they love to cook.
