The kitchen had everything our church group needed, and there were enough basics for a big group to feel comfortable. Stephen was always kind and ready to help, and our host made us feel very welcome. The setting is beautiful and the place is warm and cozy. I’d happily recommend it to friends and family, and hope to come back with an even bigger group.

The place is well set up for big groups, with a good sized kitchen, and we liked the friendly chickens. The location was very good and the host was nice. But there was mould in the rooms, and several of us developed allergies; quite a few people were sick after we got back. The toilets were old and didn’t flush properly, and water was leaking in the washroom. It needs renovation. I wouldn’t go back.

Three of us shared a room in the bunkhouse. It felt like one of the most local places I’ve stayed, with some shared areas too. We were there in late September, and I’m sure it would still be warm enough in winter.

There were 20 of us for the weekend, and we had a brilliant time. We went walking, swam at the nearby waterfall, ate at a local pub, and cooked back at the bunkhouse too. The place is huge, with a big dining table, shared spaces, and a large fire pit area. The showers use fresh spring water. It’s got the basics and sits in a BEAUTIFUL LOCATION. Thanks for having us, we hope to come again xxx

The bed was comfy and the shower had good water pressure. It was alright, though the fire didn’t work.
