Heron lodge is really comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean. We love the deck, with lounge furniture and a dining area overlooking the sea, and we'll be back. It's a wonderful lodge park in Tresaith, just above the beautiful beach and right on the coastal path. The pub is fab for lunch.

We sat out front and watched dolphins playing in the sea. The little beach below is just a five-minute walk away, and has a waterfall. There's a nice pub by the beach serving good food, plus a coastal hiking trail nearby and other villages and beaches to visit. The small static caravan site sits on a cliff above the beach in a quiet little coastal village.

The lodges are nicely landscaped, and we loved hearing the little stream running down to become Gwalia Falls at the beach. Some have sea views, and the prices are good. We found them too cramped for our liking, though we loved everything else.

We stayed in the luxury lodge Crest Haven in December 2019. It was a very modern place and a nice surprise, beyond our expectations. The large wraparound deck at the front and sides had a table and chairs, plus more seating and a coffee table for enjoying the sea view. Inside there was a roomy living area with patio doors and big windows, lots of light and views, a fireplace, a decent wall-mounted TV and blue-ray, and plenty of storage. The dining space had a table and four chairs. The large fitted kitchen was beautiful and had a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, oven, grill and hob, a large fridge and separate freezer, kettle, toaster, and all the dishes, cutlery and kitchen tools you could want. Dishwasher and washer tabs were supplied, along with an iron and ironing board. There were two comfortable, good-sized master bedrooms with walk-in wardrobes, one with an en-suite shower, and a nearby bathroom with a bath and shower above. We were right next to Gwalia falls, with sea views from the deck. The owners were very friendly and did all they could to make the stay happier and more relaxing. We'd definitely return and highly recommend it as a base for exploring West Wales. The privately owned site is called Gwalia Falls retreat, Gwalia falls, Tresaith, Cardigan bay, West Wales.

The pub, beach and lovely waterfall were all an easy walk from our room. It's one of the most beautiful places we've stayed, with a gorgeous setting looking out over the bay and sea. So relaxing. We really enjoyed it and will definitely come back. 😁😁
