We had a really good week, even with some rain, and would stay here again. The apartment had fabulous views and was just what we wanted. It's an ideal base for exploring North Wales, with the North Wales Express way within half a mile. From there, it was just a matter of heading east or west depending on where we wanted to go. Sadly, we didn't get around to exploring Penmaenmawr.

We spent two weeks here in November and found the Llys Madoc Basement Flat tidy, well equipped and laid out well, with everything we needed. It was heated superbly, and the hosts who live upstairs were helpful and quick to respond, especially when roadworks cut off the water for a few hours. It's handy for day trips, and close to both Penmaenmawr, about .3 mile away, and the beach, around .5 mile away. There are also hikes up the hills in town. The front entrance has two secure patio areas for pets, and the flat is pet friendly. There is noticeable road noise, mainly in the living room, from the A55 behind the property. A few new properties are being built along the road nearby. Some work was happening, but it wasn't loud or disruptive.

The A55 was closed, so there was some traffic noise, though it was mostly insignificant. The flat itself was lovely, very clean, spacious and well presented, with super coastal views.

We had a lovely week in this warm, welcoming, clean and tidy apartment, and the welcome pack was far beyond what we expected. The sea views were amazing. It's a great spot for exploring North Wales, with the A55 less than a mile away and Conwy, Llandudno, Bangor and Caernarfon just a short trip. The castle in Bangor was brilliant. We'd definitely recommend staying here. Thanks so much for an awesome holiday.

We had a great four-night stay in the basement flat. It was large, easy to find and had a parking space. Shops and restaurants are close by, as are Conwy, Bangor and Snowdonia. Highly recommend.
