The food really stood out: lots to choose from, served hot, with good ingredients and lovely presentation. Even the chips came in little metal pots that kept them warm on the plate 😄. Compliments to the chef. We also appreciated the plentiful guest parking, which was a big plus compared with other places nearby. Craigside manor is in a great spot, and we enjoyed walking down to the Llandudno front. Our room was clean, comfortable and big enough for four, with hot chocolate, bottled water, a TV and WiFi 6 to keep the boys connected. Housekeeping left fresh towels after we put the sign out. Everything felt modern and safe, and we loved our stay. I’d happily recommend it for a weekend away and hope to visit again this year.

We had to be out of our house overnight for building work, so after lunch we checked into a spacious, pleasant room overlooking the Little Orme. Being able to open the window for fresh air was nice, and the heating and air conditioning worked well when we shut it. The room was quiet at night, the bed was very comfortable, and we slept brilliantly. There was a good bathroom, plenty of hot water and lots of toiletries. We live nearby and had often passed the hotel and restaurant without going in. That morning, with poor weather for a promenade sandwich, lunch seemed just right. The fixed price menu offered plenty of choice for the money, and the staff were helpful and efficient. I was anxious about entering our car registration correctly to avoid a parking fine, but the waitress patiently helped while I fumbled. Later, we left the car there while walking to nearby Angel Bay to see the seals, then had to enter the registration again. Dinner was delicious and included in our offer, with an extra £10 voucher covering a glass of wine. Breakfast was also very good, with a varied buffet and cooked options. My poached eggs were perfectly done, a good sign of a skilled chef. Laura, the manager, made time for a chat, and we felt welcome and well cared for. Thanks to everyone.

The room had plenty of sockets for charging devices, but room 7, the family room, was bright all night because it sits above the hotel sign. The light blocking curtains didn't solve it. Maybe a light absorbing pelmet would help if its underside absorbed the light, or the sign could be switched off after 11pm. The shower had no hand shower, and the toilet flush buttons were difficult to use. Breakfast was a mixed bag. There was a decent variety, but it was mediocre overall. Both the fried and poached eggs were overcooked, with mostly firm yolks. The packet hollandaise had an odd taste and spoiled the eggs royal. I'd suggest semi skimmed milk, since skimmed was like water on cereal, lol. I asked for cream to make it more like full fat, and that worked fine. Service was good, though.

Laura and Sion made us feel so welcome, and the food was outstanding. We were a bit of a handful from the moment we sat down: we asked to change seats, and my partner is gluten intolerant, but they were happy to accommodate us. Sion even went out of his way at the end to find me peppermint tea. It was a lovely dinner to finish a lovely stay in Llandudno. Craigside Manor is a real gem, and we couldn't recommend it more. We'll be back, maybe to stay next time!

The Craigside Manor has a lovely feel, and its position at the top of the hill gives it a scenic setting. In warmer weather, sitting outside with a drink would be lovely. We enjoyed the food, and the Fixe Prix menu is good value. I can't manage stairs or get into a bath for a shower, so we stayed in the accessible room with the wet room. I know others may need that room more than I do, but it's the only downstairs room with a wet room, so I needed it. I've wanted to book here for a while, but it had never been available. Perhaps they could consider adding more downstairs rooms for less able guests. If you can manage the walk, you can walk into Llandudno. Otherwise, you can drive and park free for a few hours at the retail parks, or leave the car all day on the prom for £4.50, with parking free after 4pm. We love visiting Llandudno regularly, and staying at The Craigside Manor was a treat we'd recommend.
