It's a converted garage within walking distance of Penrith, so it worked well as a base for the Lakes. There's off-road parking, central heating and a small separate bathroom. You can use the microwave for simple food, but there isn't an oven or hob. We disagreed about the mattress: one of us thought it was fine, the other felt it needed replacing. The hosts were friendly. The accommodation is below the main house, so you should expect some noise from the people living there.
