The room was spotless, thoughtfully laid out, and had everything we needed. We were lucky to look out over the sea and watch the street below. The staff were kind and easy to talk to, and the food was excellent, even the breakfast coffee, which can be hit or miss in pubs. We were walking through the area and had a fabulous stay. British hospitality at its best, and I highly recommend it.

The staff made our evening with their attentive, pleasant service. We ate at The Dolphin Tavern on Quay Street in Penzance during a recent two-day stay nearby. The food was hearty pub fare, cooked fresh to order and brought out piping hot. Portions were generous, and everything was exceptionally tasty. Highly recommended, and thank you so much.

Milo sends special thanks and paw shakes! The staff made such a fuss of our little boy, bringing him water and treats, and the place is very dog friendly. Our fish and chips were lovely, fresh, and really tasty, and we all enjoyed our meals. Everyone was polite, accommodating, and attentive, going the extra mile. We visited on 26th March after reading the reviews, and it lived up to them. We'd definitely recommend dining here. Thanks, you're amazing!

The homemade chilli was delicious, and the menu had plenty of choice at good prices. Beth was so friendly and chatty, giving us a superb welcome and service throughout. We stopped for lunch in February on our way to Lands End. The classic pub decor is really nicely done. We'd recommend it and look forward to returning.

I went in twice recently and had the fish and chips both times, which were very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. It's a traditional historic pub with lots of character.
