The continental breakfast was great, especially since I got started on it the night before! I had no complaints about the room either: lovely and comfortable, with a great bed, shower and TV. Kay met me at the door, made me feel welcome and explained everything clearly. The place is in a peaceful spot outside town, easy to reach, with a pub up the road and parking on the drive. I’ll be back in February 2024. You can count on it.

We’d happily come back. My wife booked us a night away from the kids so we could have some time together, and the room was lovely, well decorated and came with brilliant instructions. We found the bed comfortable, despite another review saying otherwise. The location was beautiful too. The one thing that took the shine off it was the noise from upstairs during the night, along with a loud fridge. There was a lot of movement overhead around 2am. Thanks for the stay.

The host was helpful and friendly, and left us a continental breakfast, drinks and lots of extras. The room was spacious, very clean and had its own bathroom, plus a kettle, toaster, microwave, small fridge and seating area. I hadn’t realised when booking through booking. Com that the owner lived upstairs. Someone was also doing DIY when we arrived, but luckily the noise didn’t last long.

The tea and breakfast supplies were a thoughtful touch, and the room looked almost new. It was spacious and perfectly clean. We only stayed one night, but everything was great. I’d definitely recommend it for either a short or longer stay.
