The breakfast was fantastic, with cereals, a cooked option, juice, yoghurt, fresh fruit, toast and as much tea and coffee as we wanted. It set us up well for our six-mile walk from Lands End to Porthcurno. Andrea and her family were so welcoming that it felt like we’d known them for ages. We had an ensuite room with a view of the sea, among green fields, just as I’d hoped after researching the stay from Australia. I’d come over to the UK for a few weeks and brought my sister and niece to Cornwall. Dinner was an easy short walk across the potato field to Logans Rock Inn. Thanks so much, Andrea. I hope to bring my partner from Oz and stay again in a few years. It was awesome! :0)

The bathroom and bedroom were lovely, with a striking view over fields to the sea. Breakfast was very nice and the service was great. It’s a charming, quiet spot, and the best place we stayed during our Cornwall holiday.

We stayed at Trendrennen in Chy Morva cottage, a great fit for a family break. The balcony looks over fields towards the sea and was just right for a glass of wine at the end of the day. It’s a stunning location, within walking distance of the Minack and Porthcurno beach. The modern cottage is well equipped with everything you need. We loved our stay and will be back.

We stopped at Trendrennen while walking the southwest coast path, and Logan rock Inn is nearby for a very good evening meal. The owners were friendly and helpful. The place was spotlessly clean, stylishly furnished, and the breakfast was generous and tasty. A stunning location.

The rooms are simple and clean, the nights quiet, and the cooked breakfast delicious. You look out over arable fields to the sea. The hosts are local and clearly devoted to the land. They get up at five to milk the cows at a yard a mile away, then come back, clean up and take breakfast orders.
